FOUNDER
Ankita Gill founded Param Sara, fueled by her Indian roots and a deep fondness for the rich heritage and captivating aromas of Asia. She embarked on a mission to honor the region's natural treasures and cultural legacies through the transformative power of fragrance.
After a career in finance, Ankita moved to China, where she has lived for almost a decade. Immersing herself in the sensory and cultural landscapes of her new home, she entered the fashion industry, a world that deepened her understanding of artistry, design, and storytelling. Inspired by the role of ingredients in Eastern rituals, she began to see fragrance as a powerful medium for emotional resonance and healing.
Recognizing perfumery as a mode of self-expression and a powerful conduit for connection and personal narratives, Ankita honed her craft at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery in France, where she learned to merge traditional techniques with modern innovations. Her fragrances serve as universal refuges, offering moments of introspection and renewal.

Green Perfumery
Upcycling and Industry Waste Valorisation:
We take pride in using upcycled ingredients in our fragrance creations, transforming what was once considered a by-product into captivating, sustainable scents. By repurposing industry materials, we reduce the need for virgin resources, embracing a circular approach to fragrance-making that helps preserve both nature and our planet’s precious resources.

PACKAGING
At Param Sara, our packaging reflects our commitment to sustainability and the beauty of nature. Designed with care for the planet, it is both recyclable and crafted from environmentally conscious materials. We avoid single-use cellophane for our fragrances and ensure that the paper used is made from 100% recycled, post-industrial fibers. This paper has been awarded the prestigious 'Blue Angel' certification by the German Federal Environmental Agency, recognizing its eco-friendly production. Our packaging embodies thoughtful design, balancing the protection of our products with minimal environmental impact.
MATERIALS
PCR Plastic: This type of plastic is less wasteful than regular plastic, as a reduced amount of waste is produced and collected, creating less waste in landfills and water sources. Our lids are partly made of PCR plastic.
